What:  The Dog Writers Association of America, founded in

1935, was created surrounding the Westminster Dog Show

activities to encourage and support quality writing about dogs.

The Nominations for The DWAA are out, and Pet Life Radio’s

Megan Blake and Super Smiley are on the list!

 

When and Where:  The DWAA hosts their annual awards

banquet in New York City the night before the opening of the

Westminster Dog Show, Sunday Feb. 15, Hotel Pennsylvania,

NYC.

two time shelter rescue is a credentialed HOPE Crisis Response

Dog, a Pet Partners Therapy Dog, The Ambassador of Kindness

for the international Animal Film Festival, and the former

NationalSpokes-Dog for Hallmark Channel’s Hero Dog Awards. 

As Blake’s Muse, Super Smiley has inspired the national

Super Smiley Flash Mob tour for Pet Adoption, which resulted in

“Dogumentaries” winning film festivals across the country spreading the message of Pet Adoption and Stewardship.  He also inspired the Kindness with Super Smiley® Humane Education Program, the Kindness Campaign Teaching Kids Kindness Through Animals.
